Description

This book explores how the Israeli kibbutzim who moved to the promised land for a new independent existence approached architecture. Arieh Sharon, Shmuel Mestechkin and Munio Gitai Weinraub were three graduates of the Dessau Bauhaus who took the ideas of the progressive school to Palestine and found a unique synthesis of Bauhaus and kibbutz movement ideals.

Written in German.
