Description

For the past few year Gus Powell has been taking photographs of pedestrians during his lunch break. Shot in Manhattan, the pictures illuminate nothing and everything about human existence. The subjects walk, ponder, smoke, itch and wait with penatrating silence. All Regardless of how recent they were shot, the colour images evoke a bygone era. Powell has an incredible eye for composition, and the images sequencing create an unknowable narrative.
