Matthew Dickman was born in Portland, Oregon in 1975. His first book, All-American Poem, was winner of the 2008 American Poetry Review / Honickman First Book Prize in Poetry, published by American Poetry Review.His second full collection of poetry, Mayakovsky’s Revolver, was published by Norton, 2012.

Fivehundred places is a press established by Jason Dodge in an attempt to bring new readers to some of the poets that have been so important to his thinking and working over the past decades.

With a single printing of 500 copies, each book will find itself in one of 500 places.
