Orozco has the uncanny ability to create work that employs such banality into profound structures that one wonders about where his mind travels. This book is in keeping with this conjecture. Round circles are applied to bills, tickets and photo’s: oranges are placed on tables, Vespa scooters are sculpted out of marble, and just when you start to understand where he’s heading…he turns.
