The debut release from the Text of Light ensemble, which features Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth) and Alan Licht (guitars/devices), Christian Marclay and DJ Olive (turntables), William Hooker (drums/percussion), Ulrich Krieger (sax/electronics), and Tim Barnes (drums/percussion), was originally performed as a soundtrack to the films of Stan Brakhage and features original artwork by the filmmaker/archivist Harry Smith.
