Created posthumously by The Cosmic Love Machine Collective, one year after the death of artist Robert Flack. This bookwork examines a collaborative work-in-process by Flack and sound artist Andrew Zealley—a project left unfinished by Flack’s death (October 1993). Images and notes culled from Flack’s personal-work diaries are complemented by his visuals – presented here in layers (photo-based images with vellum overlays with Flack’s drawings). An indepth examination of the artist’s working process and his firsthand experience(s) with HIV-AIDS and related dementia. The book includes an audio CD of the proposed sound installation by Zealley plus extra tracks.
