Being Fucked Up, Strange Animals

Emily Vey Duke

Black-line renderings of individual cats, their faces replaced with human features. These cat drawings are featured as animations in the artists’ 2001 videotape “Being Fucked Up”. They may be cute and prance around innocently, but they know all of their owners’ secrets. They make a great set. Printed by Doug Gilford on archival paper. Edition of 9, signed, numbered, dated.
