Donald Rance has been creating this series of meticulously crafted, carefully edited collections of found photographs since the late 1990’s. OM: the oneiric metropolis (the city archive project) brings together the artist’s interests in the archive, the city, and the dream. The series now includes 11 titles.

This is the first in the series. The black clamshell box contains a stack of unbound cardstock inkjet prints. This collection includes many texts interspersed among the photos of urban and neighbourhood spaces, home interiors, with many pictures of moms, whether they be playmates, dutiful mothers or dedicated nuns. Signed and numbered edition of 25 copies.
