Reactivating the Archive is a series of artist talks and performance lectures by artists and curators responding to works published by Art Metropole over our 50-year history.
Published by Art Metropole and Ottenhausen Verlag in 1987, Lives Here indexes images of artists’ front doors, photographed by Nannucci between 1975 and 1985. Lockhart’s reactivation of Lives Here takes the form of a collective mail art action, drawing inspiration from their interactions with addresses and front doors as a postal worker.
