Illusory Self #4 looks to the octagon and its philosophical importance and powers. The one panel strips in this issue all use the octagon as their starting point, delving into cosmology, philosophy, existentialism from there. Mystical forms and beings along with animal characters all appear as in Bride’s past zines.
