Juan S. Puyal was born in Barcelona in 1936. He began his career as an illustrator in 1958, mainly working for books and magazines for young readers. He was later introduced to the domain of sexual fetishism, spending the next ten years illustrating for London’s Swish Publications, the publisher of Madame in the World of Fantasy. This book is the first collection of drawings from that period.
