Description

Alberto Garutti (b.1948) explores the narrative and immaterial dimension of public art. Garutti connotes streets, squares and buildings in towns and cities, trying to investigate the numerous poetic aspects of public space.

Three attempts are made to compile a catalogue raisonne of the work of the Italian artist. Sections unfold more as essays, by Chus Martinez and Ingo Niermann, Hans-Ulrich Obrist and Stefano Boeri, and Luca Cerizza.
