COMPILER is a curated DVD magazine based in Basel that has devoted this, their second issue, to the Ocean. In part an homage to filmmaker George Greenough, this DVD assembles “films and clips about the never ending longing for the great, deep, violent and mysterious ocean”. Contributors include Olaf Breuning, Trisha Donnelly, Drew Heitzler, Emelie Halpern, Hanspeter Hofmann, Marie Jager, Shaun Gladwell, Los Super Elegantes, Hans Weigand and Heimo Zobernig.
