Description

The third edition of “Bauhaus”, which is published by the Bauhaus Dessau Foundation is dedicated to things. Parallel to the major retrospective of the century designer Marcel Breuer things were selected, which may seem trivial at first sight, against which to but examine utopian and emancipatory action, Fetish and consumer behavior – from teaspoons of up to Cactus, the price tag up to the mirror of box until the timetable. The booklet is an attempt to figure out how the Bauhaus has changed the approach to things, and how the examination of the “thing in itself” shaped today.
