A small memorandumm to the readers of this book, (dated August 26th, 2012) contains this paragraph:
“… you will do likewise, holding this book with soft white gloves, sinking into a comfortable armchair with the thought: Perhaps I will enjoy this one…”
Pleasant it is, no doubt, to drink tea with your sweetheart, but most disagreeable to find her bubbling in the tea-urn.
