Description

I received this zine after I went on my first bike trip and it only further inspired me to be on my bike more. Jen and Benji share their experiences about their trip down the Pacific Coast, including sharing safety tips, their itinerary, what they ate during their tour, how to keep a budget, gear they used, where to sleep and shower. Not only does this zine present pragmatic information about touring both share thoughts on bike touring and white masculinity, intense feelings about home and perservering through intense physical and mental hurdles, Jen’s story about having to bike over the Astoria bridge being my favorite tale of overcoming adversity. I could go on and on about this zine but I’ll leave it at this: Inspirational, emotional and informative
