Description

Tiger Tail is a handmade photo book about Phillip Lý’s time working at a popular ice cream shop. It is a reflection on the ways customer service work can be dehumanizing, and how strangely comfortable people are with photographing and filming strangers in public. Featuring found images, half of the book comprises of photos taken of the artist without their knowledge, and posted on Instagram by local foodies. The other half comprises of images sourced from the internet of ice cream vending machines.
