TV dinner plate from “The Miss General Idea Pavillion” which was created for an exhibition at the Wacoal Art Centre, Japan, 1988. This multiple reproduces the iconic SMPTE colour bars used in television test patterns, referencing General Idea’s video work Test Tube and returning to the central role of mass media within the collective’s practice.
