Description

The infamous pamphlet published by artist Greg Curnoe and curator Pierre Theberge includes a manifesto, articles on “folk” artists Artheme St. Germain and Dan Patterson, an article about the nature of folk art by Peter Denny, and a list of videotapes and slides from the “Association’s” collection. The pamphlet accompanied an exhibition at the London Regional Art Gallery and grew out of Curnoe’s theories of regionalism. Essential Canadian art history.
