The tenth issue of ‘F.R. DAVID’ presents a heterosexual man who takes the liberty of representing some universal views on humanity – ones typically expressed by women and homosexuals. The theme plays upon the critical suggestion that people often tell their stories through the stories of others, implying that these stories are either unknown to the people themselves, or that people are simply unable to elucidate them. Among the many contributors are Jean-Philippe Antoine, Robert Ashley, Helen DeWitt, Sharon Hayes, Chris Kraus, Rita McBride, Nour Mobarak, Alice Notley, Adam Pendleton, Charlotte Prodger, John Russell, Amy Sillman and William Carlos Williams.
