Care Not Care Records is pleased to announce the release of 7 Scories, a new record by Paul Collins & Palix, their first since their now-famous Wipe Out of 2005.

The word “scorie” sounds like a portmanteau combination of a score with a story.

In French, scories are the porous remnants of volcanic or other molten processes.

Of the seven tracks on this record, six were originally composed and recorded in 2009 for the PiedNu festival of new and experimental music, in Le Havre.

These tracks have been newly remixed and remastered to produce 7 Scories.

Another track, Show Me The Door, is a 2007 recording of Collins & Pailx live at the OPA club in Paris.
