A split EP that pairs two on Canada’s most exciting new bands, Toronto’s New Fries and Halifax’s Old & Weird. This release juxtaposes both bands unique take on “art-rock”: New Fries jerky, sometimes abrasive paring of Captain Beefheart’s raw logic with ESG’s skeletal grooves, and Old & Weird’s pop harmonies meets minimalist garage-punk.
