Maria Bussmann’s preferred medium is drawing. The artist, who holds a doctorate in philosophy, is inspired by works such as Ludwig Wittgenstein’s Tractatus, Spinoza’s Ethics, texts by Martin Heidegger, Maurice Merleau-Ponty and Hannah Arendt. Her artwork translates her perceptions subtly and sketchily into visibility.
Waldrolle is a 1:1 reproduction of a 21 × 1000 cm graphite drawing on fax paper.
