Description

Looty Goes to Heaven is a story about a small Pekingese dog that was taken from the Summer Palace outside of Beijing, at the end of the Second Opium War, and gifted to Queen Victoria. The dog was renamed “Looty” after the act of looting, in reference to how she was found. This book is a re-imagination of what Looty’s life may have been like, equal parts fact and fantasy. With a historical timeline and images section. In English and Traditional Chinese.
