From the series “Activating the Archive”, in which selections from Art Metropole’s archive of videotapes were made by artists, critics and curators on a particular topic or theme. Here, Bruce Ferguson writes on Colin Campbell’s video piece “Sackville, I’m Yours” and Campbell’s Art Star persona. Ferguson delves into the sexuality, politics and profound quirkiness of Campbell’s work. Presented in person by Tom Lackey on April 25, 1991
