This hardcover book describes three of Christian Jankowski’s films “My Life As A Dove”, “Director Poodle” and “Flock” with essays by Stephan Schmidt-Wulffen and Magician Christian Knudsen. The works are thoroughly documented and presented with many colour and b/w images. The artist is transformed into a dove for weeks, a museum director takes the form of a white poodle for 3 days, and various audience volunteers are turned into a herd of sheep. Magic entertains and confounds, as does the work of Christian Jankowski. Transformation exists for real.
