Jankowski approached those who assemble daily in front of the famous Cinecitta studios in Italy. The individuals were interviewed on video, asked for their interest in the studios and acting ambitions. The artist then created a script based on the wish list of characters and situations stipulated by the interviewees. He then cast those same unknowns into “their” combined story, which was shot on a Cinecitta set, on film. The video and film had been installed for simultaneous viewing at Museo d’Arte Contemporanea Roma. Thoroughly illustrated in colour, with interview transcripts and final film script.
