Alphabet Prime is a biannual arts journal presenting critical texts, artist contributions, and fictional works, among other content. The publication takes as its focus the problem of language in contemporary discourse, and its limitations within the established framework of “theory.” It was initiated by Maia Gianakos, an independent writer, curator, and editor originally from New York and currently based in Berlin.
This inaugural issue features contributions by Asli Cavusoglu, Goldin + Senneby, Jen Kennedy and Liz Linden, Ginny Kollak, F. Zahir Mibineh, Hans-Ulrich Obrist, Sarah Rifky, Irit Rogoff, Johanne Nordby Werno and Olav Westphalen
