Description

September edition of Chrysanne Stathacos’ periodical artists’ book. In 1991 Stathacos discovered “The Art Journal” dated 1854 with loose writings on Anne de Cybelle, a Parisian artist from the nineteenth century. It occurred to her that their lives had many parallels, and she developed a series of artists’ books pulling citations from sections of this journal. This specific edition pulls from the section titled “…and so beautiful”.

Softcover, saddle-stapled, b/w.
