The second volume of Cathy Busby’s brilliant examination of real urban culture: this book contains over 350 full-page reproductions of posters the artist found stuck to telephone poles in Halifax’s North End from July 2006 to July 2007, arranged chronologically, and printed in colour or black and white depending on the original. Again, comprised mostly of underground ads for musical performances, yard sales or political protests, the variety of styles and techniques demonstrated in these posters is fascinating.
