Description

DAICHI Projects is named after the artist’s son. It literally means ‘earth’ or ‘land’ in Japanese.

This project is a process based platform exploring creative ideas of recovery in Japan through the eyes of children.

Takeya has created capsules to enclose his Daichi dolls and hopes that participants will keep the dolls and refill the empty capsules with gifts for Japanese children’s art workshops and return them to the place of purchase. The artist will then deliver these capsules to Japan.
