Canadian artist duo Hadley+Maxwell produced a stunning portfolio of eight silkscreen posters in response to Lisa Robertson’s Cinema of the Present, drawing aesthetic inspiration from the political posters created by the Atelier Populaire for the May ’68 Paris uprising.
Digital reproductions of the posters are available as a complete set of eight. Each poster measures 19 ½ x 13 inches, printed on 100 lb. Roland opaque white uncoated stock.
Hadley+Maxwell consist of Hadley Howes (b. 1973, Toronto, Ontario) and Maxwell Stephens (b. 1966, Montréal, Quebec). They currently live and work in Berlin, Germany.
