Description

Asthenia is an independent curatorial and publishing project, founded in 2015 by artist Amalia Vekri.

Printed annually, each edition launch hosts an exhibition by all the artists who have contributed to the publication. Contributors are asked to submit something that corresponds to the issue’s theme. This contribution can range from text, photography, or drawing. Asthenia has worked with a number of curators and over 100 Greek and international artists and project spaces around Athens.

Asthenia No. 6 features Benedikt Bock, Manolis D. Lemos, Christos Delidimos, Alex Eagleton, Florent Frizet, Pinelopi Gerasimou, Delia Gonzalez, Charles Irvin, Ula Lucinska and Michal Knychaus, Albert Mayr, Natasha Papadopoulou, Lukas Panek, Tula Plumi, Erica Scourti, Goncalo Sena, Valinia Svoronou, Alexandros Vasmoulakis with Paris Koutsikos & Christina Theisen, Vincent Verhoef, and Faye Wei Wei.
