Lan “Florence” Yee recreated fragments of their Master of Fine Arts thesis essay in hand-embroidered letter-size felt, alongside personal reflections on intergenerational workaholism. The artist graduated into the pandemic in Spring 2020, when their thesis defense and graduating exhibition got cancelled. They were left with the document of their thesis in isolation, and recreated some of its introductory ideas as a way of coping through the strange passage of time.
