In the fall of 2001, Priesch and Lederer contacted over 100 emerging and established artists in New York, Vienna, Bratislava and Toronto inviting them to stage their “Death in the Studio” for a book project. The artists visited 61 respondents to document their death scenario. This book consists of 2 photos, one by each of the artists, of each death scene.
