The second full-length audio release by American sound artist/composer, Terre Thaemlitz. A graceful soundwork which examines issues of HIV/AIDS politicizing. Published in 1995, by the Instinct imprint, SOIL evokes a serene, calmly peaceful territory — essentially distilling the “silence” of the mantra “Silence = Death.” First edition, now out-of-print.
