Disco Sec

Christof Migone
31.5 × 31.5 cm

Disco Sec traces the portrait of a listening through noisy bursts and silent ghosts. Disco Sec utilizes citation and the act of citing as material and as method of fragmentation to sketch a portrait. The title piece as well as the other works that comprise Disco Sec take their inspiration from the reductive gesture of citing. Disco Sec performs a synoptic act wich may trigger amongst the listening public a bizarre sort of dance, a jerky and stuttery dance, a dance wich will of course be known as a disco sec.
