Description

Here the artist curates found work; from July 2005 to July 2006 Busby collected all the posters she found stuck to telephone poles in Halifax’s North End. Mostly for musical performances, yard sales or political protests these posters display a remarkable variety of aesthetic styles, media and levels of quality. This book catalogues the exhibit (also entitled ‘The North End’) at the Emerson Gallery in Berlin in 2006 and contains over 250 full-page poster reproductions arranged in chronological order, colour and black and white depending on the original. A true insight into real urban culture. From a signed and numbered edition of 10.
