Shawn Kuruneru’s “DW.LS” offers a series of meditative ink and graphite drawings that all stem from a single source image of a woman turning away, her hand outstretched and her expression inscrutable. Kuruneru focuses on the woman’s hand, head, pivoting feet, and patterned skirt, altering and repeating her gestures until they become engulfed in abstracted forms and marks.
