Description

A series of recorded conversations and email exchanges between Padraig Robinson and Daniel Frota sparked by a controversial image of a Palestinian child in the crosshairs of a rifle posted on Instagram by an Israeli soldier. Covered by international news, this became one instance in many where the Israeli army was criticized for its member’s use of social media platforms, and part of a larger dialogue about how violence is mediated through images in the age of mobile phones and the internet.

Part of the “Publishing Class III: How to Live Together” series from the Dutch Art Institute; Design by Daniel Frota of Werkplaats Typografie.

Artist book by Padraig Robinson and Daniel Frota, Edition of 200.
