It’s a simple conceit: two issues per year, four poets per issue, and twenty pages per poet to curate and fill as they wish. But these conditions push the writers to hone a holistic body of work. The resulting book stands outside the time sensitivity of other poetry periodicals and instead offers a place for a body of work to be collected in a thoughtful and uninterrupted way, to be read over and over again, and sit alongside the very best on your shelf.
