Photography by Eric Pickersgill accompanies the poems, visualizing the presence and absence of technology in our lives. The issue also includes an essay on digital connection by Colin Brezicki; an interview with Thurston Moore and John Kinsella; reviews of new books by Laurelyn Whitt, Tess Liem, Susan Gillis, and Gil McElroy; and the winners of the 2018 Vallum Award for Poetry. What emerges is an understanding of connection as both real and imagined, ephemeral and chemical; a tribute to poetry itself as a space where we connect.
