Description

An Eye For An Eye is a small-book version of Kennedy’s site-specific installation painting of the same name from 2004. The piece draws from traditional expressions focusing on negotiations of power, and uses his signature typeface, a variation on “superstar Shadow,” which straddles the line between text and art. Printed in bold black and white, the text is split over six pages.
