In the spring of 2023 the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) posted baffling signs about the 501 streetcar’s route change, so artist Shari Kasman created and posted her own signs featuring an image to draw attention to the confusion created by the TTC’s signs. Despite some swirly visuals, the sign’s text explained things with complete clarity, including, “This particiular route change will be in effect for 10 months, but may change sooner or later, just to keep things interesting!”
