"All cool in Parks" Postcard

In the summer of 2023 the City of Toronto launched a pilot project allowing the public to drink in 27 different parks from August 2nd until October 9th. Billboard-sized “Alcohol in Parks” signs popped up in each of those parks to promote the initiative. Although the signs were complete eyesores, receiving many complaints and a great deal of media attention, the city left them untouched. So, artist Shari Kasman altered the signs in four parks. The city did not seem to like these “All cool” signs—they promptly removed them and posted smaller signs instead.
