Text on reverse:
In the fall of 2022 the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) posted baffling signs about the 506 streetcar’s route diversion, so artist Shari Kasman created and posted her own signs featuring an image to draw attention to the confusion created by the TTC’s signs and the streetcar’s meandering route. Despite the swirly visuals, the sign’s text explained things with complete clarity. It began: “506 Carlton streetcars will probably eventually show up if your stop is in service, but you might be waiting a while for one to arrive.”
