Description

In 2017, artist and musician Jamey Braden unleashed a barrage of cryptic, sometimes angry, messages on the streets of Vancouver in the form of anonymous posters, reproduced in this compact, colourful volume. Using automatic writing, Braden created pointed statements from a feminist collective unconscious embracing ambiguity and uncertainty. The result is a series of texts that simultaneously confront, confound, implicate, and involve the viewer.
