Description

“In 2011, I created a public work consisting of a decorative texture on frames of 14 windows of a Toronto apartment building. The bas-relief surface totalled over 700 feet. Imagery was taken from the internet. Thousands of images under the subject matters of People, Bling, Financial numbers, Celebrities, Housing, Automobiles, and Garbage were collaged and converted into machine readable files, then machined onto lengths of the aluminum frame system. The book consists of 14 random details from the original files from each window.”

Robin Collyer is a Canadian sculptor and photographer, exhibiting since 1969.
