Description

A comprehensive companion to Cosima von Bonin’s soft sculptures and cartoon pastiches, which question leisure society and social constructs

Designed as a personal journey into the public and private worlds of Cosima von Bonin (born 1962), Songs for Gay Dogs places her signature soft sculptures of animals and cartoon characters amid a play by Estelle Hoy, critical essays, documentation of her 2024 exhibition at MUDAM Luxembourg and a “Privato” chapter of documents from the artist’s personal archive.

Edited by Clémentine Proby
Text by Clara Drechsler, Estelle Hoy, and Mary Messhausen
