Burnt sienna portraits in a turn of the century style of drawing. The portraits are part of larger wall sculptures that include bones, stuffed animal heads, tools, mechanisms and other found objects that draw parallels between the animals represented and their features being translated into the portraits. Daniel Spoerri’s work prey’s on the falsehoods and complexcities of Eugenics. Text by Mark Gisbourne in both French and English. Illustrated in black and white and full colour plates.
